Résumé
If you truly enjoy a winter with frequent and abundant snowfall, you would be hard-pressed to find a location that fulfilled your expectations over the course of the 2015–2016 snow season across the United States. Flakes certainly did fly, and on occasion in abundance. However, most everywhere seasonal totals were below average, and for the above-average mid-Atlantic, the vast majority of the snow fell in one memorable storm. As reported in Weatherwise for the past 61 years, a month-by-month summary of noteworthy snow events, totals, and oddities from this past season follows.
