A solar pillar was observed in Bergen, Norway on 26 May 2018. In what follows, the meteorological phenomenon is described using a photograph and available scientific data. Radio occultation data are used to infer temperature and altitude ranges for the potential formation of ice crystals, which play a crucial role in the phenomenon.</p>
