<strong>Meteorological Service Singapore Workshop on the Madden-Julian Oscillation and Equatorial Waves</strong><br /><strong>What:</strong> A workshop at Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) brought together researchers, operational forecasters, and international experts to discuss how we incorporate information on the Madden-Julian oscillation (MJO) and equatorial waves into operational forecasts. Discussions focused on the fundamental science of these large-scale drivers; our understanding of their impacts at local scales over and around Singapore; the translation of this knowledge into new forecast products; state-of-the-art tools for monitoring; and how to make use of such tools in operational workflows.<br /><strong>When:</strong> 4-6 August 2025<br /><strong>Where:</strong> Meteorological Service Singapore, Singapore and online.</div>
