Long a controversial figure in meteorology, Irving P. Krick is getting renewed attention thanks to this summer's blockbuster movie Pressure, in which Krick faces off against other meteorologists in making the hard call on when to launch the D-Day attacks in World War II. We revisit Krick's legacy in this article from a 2008 edition of <em>Weatherwise</em>. </p>
